I find that rather amazing, Lance is one of the few people to ever win a TDF older then 32, and here is a guy who is 38 finishing 2nd in a Time Trial. Shoots I almost wouldn't put it past him to try to race in the next Olympics at 42.

If you want to question a rider for giving up when they should know better , look to blame Iban Mayo for being gutless.Hamilton on the other hand cannot be accused of that.

How ironic ,an American (i assume you are allanw?) attacking one of their most decent , hardworking and gutsy bike riders and Europeans defending him.There are riders like Mayo , Simoni , Cippolini who give up without a second thought , then there are riders like Hamilton who deserve any succes they get and some.

I have said it many times before and I say it again .Tyler loved his dog. He dedicated his gold medal to his memory. I personally like my dog more than most people. I know where I stand with him. Feed him and show him some attention and you have a friend for life. Loan a human friend money. ZAP!! Instant amnesia! Tyler has a heart, that doesn't make him weak. It takes heart to win.
Don't get me wrong I like people too its just that dogs have better pesonalities and more loyality than a lot of people do.

I'm glad for Tyler too. I think he deserves it, even though I can't say how disappointed I am with JU. Will Tyler participate in LaVuelta?

Whilst we are on the subject of pets and dogs , alot of people grieve more severely when a beloved pet dies (dogs from my experience , im a dog person) than sometimes a family member.It might not seem rational , but then human emotions very rarely are.
I can empathise with how distraught he must have been having his best friend put down during the Tour.
