Tyler eyes return

VT: I understand that you've continued to train and are fit. I hear
from many fans who are eager for your return to racing. Any idea what
team you will ride with? What races will you target when you return to
racing in September?

Tyler: I had spoken to a number of teams before my decision came down
and was ultimately hoping to return to racing with Phonak. With the
decision being what it is, obviously I have to revisit any previous
discussions I've had. I don't want to end my career on this note,
and will absolutely return to racing, hopefully later this year. My
suspension is scheduled to end one day after the Individual Time Trial
which is disappointing. I would have liked to return for that.
However, I will be cleared by the Road Race which I hope to do on the
24th. Beyond that I can't really speculate because a lot has to be
ironed out before I could set a schedule. But October still offers a
full month of racing, and obviously if I were on a Pro Tour team by
that point, I'd want to do all the racing I could.

Question: Tyler, aren't you concerned that whatever it was about the
test or your particular blood that gave you the false positives in the
first place will continue to register false positives? You might be
suspended again after your first race! How can you protect yourself
going forward?

Pro Tour Team? You've been smoking Bad Hash man

You might get a ride with Contnental squad for around 1,500 Euros a
month but even that is doubtful

You're about as welcome in the peloton as a Pork Chop at a Bar Mitzva

Yeah, look at the way teams treated Millar, or Virenque, or Brochard,
or Zuelle.

*Especially* Virenque. As long as I live, I will *never* understand
the French public's reception of that guy.

Guys that can win Paris-Tours the way he did are not common.
Even juiced.

Does anyone remember when he gave all his Tour winnings to
Rwandan refugees? If you were French I bet you would.

You left off the h.

You don't honestly believe that stuff you wrote, do you? Teams don't
want to be involved in an erupting scandal, but showing compassion and
tolerance for a recovered "sinner" does not sully a team nor its
sponsors. Generating lots of headlines, whether by past notoriety or
winning, is the sole aim of the sponsors.

This is an easy one to bet on as it will be clear which way the wind
blows within a few months.

Come to think of it the veterinary bills would be beyond the budget of a
small team.

Interesting. I wonder, are they using the plural form of 'you' or has Tyler
rid himself of his twin?

What's this? Why no mention of your twin, Tyler? You are a selfish person.
Stay away from Phonak. Phonak have discontinued their doping program.
(They may be interested in your twin, tho.)

Is this the start of a "did Tugboat dope" thread?

It's a point, I suppose, but it seems akin to saying, "Remember that
famous embezzler who stole millions from his employees' retirement
fund? Wasn't that nice the way he turned around and gave that money
to charity?"

Yippee.

I'm not French, but I remember all the same, But I also remember *****
Voet's version of the incident: it was a publicity stunt of the team
direction. Virenque didn't even know what Rwanda was.

Good point, at least that would prove he is innocent !
