  1. I'm thinking of doing this route across exmoorand dartmoor in spring. The
route descriptions seem to assume we want to stay in pubs etc. overnight
(must say that has its attracions). I'd prefer to camp - on sites or wild.
Does anyone with experience of this route have any suggestions as to the
feasibility of this (I believe wild camping is allowed over much of Dartmoor
but frowned upon on Exmoor) and any good camp sites.

    Thanks in anticipation

  2. I'd check with google for "camping barns" and bunkhouse accommodation - if
memory serves the 2 moors way is well served
Wild camping shouldn't be a problem on both moors, but the bit in between
    could be a little haphazard
