  1. I am planning on switching from Fast Tack to Tufo tape, and I'm wondering:
do I have to remove my old glue residue or can I lay the tape down on top of
    it?

    Thanks,
    Billy Andrews

  2. It's fine to lay it on top....as long as you don't have huge gookie
    piles of glue.

    That tape is good stuff!

  3. I used it last year for both road and cyclocross. It worked well on
the road, then I had a flat so I put a new tire on and added a new
layer on top of the old residue, which worked fine, until I did a real
long race in the pouring rain and found that gobs of glue were
squashing out of the sides of the tire. It made for an awful mess. I
also used it for cyclocross, it worked pretty well but started to come
loose in the really muddy sloppy conditions. Maybe I'm not using it
    right. Overall, it's good stuff.
