Tuen-up?

Your garage. Get a good book ("Zinn & the art of mountain bike maintenance"😉 & learn to do it
yourself. It'll really help most when things aren't working right on the trail and you don't have
a bike shop around to fix your problem. Its not as hard as it might look. It is, after all, just
a bicycle.

Unfortunately, no garage. Small (very, very small) inner-city apartment. The book, while an
excellent idea, is a future purchase, along with the accompanying tools. For the immediate time
being a bike shop is really the best thing. I do thank you for the advice, however. FTR, I am
actually mechanically inclined enough handle the job myself but (fixed all of the neighborhood
bikes, back when I was a kid), as I intimated, space is at a premium, as are a lack tools beyond my
small emergency all-in-wonder kit than I ride with.

So, as I said, anybody know where a decent place to get a tune-up in the Metro DC area?
