Whats the logical explanation behind tubeless tires being so finicky when it comes to repairs compared to traditional tubes, and are the supposed benefits of tubeless really worth the hassle and added cost when a simple patch kit can fix a tube in minutes?

Is it just a case of marketing hype and people being led astray by the perceived advantages of tubeless, or is there some actual science behind the increased difficulty in repairing a tubeless tire compared to a tube?

Whats the most cost-effective and time-efficient way to repair a tubeless tire, and how does it compare to the simplicity of using a patch kit on a traditional tube?

Is the lack of a tube in tubeless tires really whats causing the added complexity in repairs, or is there something more at play here that were all just missing?
