And [censored] happens to us too. I really had a major brain block one day
working in the Harley shop. I was working on this really cool older
bike that hadn't run in a few years and the owner was coming back from
Bosnia and dieing to ride, so I was motivated.
Didn't matter, I pulled the carb down, rebuilt it, had done them
dozens of times at least, was honor grad in the "early model" course
at the factory school, still screwed it up repeatedly. Finally handed
it off to one of the senior techs, and I must've been contagious
because he made the same screwup that I had with the jets. Two days
later, after massive red faces, another tech started on it cold with
no info from us except a description of the symptoms, and had it fixed
in about an hour including the road test. Which is what it should've
    taken me, and usually did.
    Somedays, the bull, she wins.
