ps, I bought a Sirrus and have since put drops on it cos I missed them so much. Good frame though.

Have done exactly the same - there must be lots of drop-barred Sirruses out there! However, I
enjoyed riding the Sirrus so much that I've since gone one step beyond and built meself up a Cervelo
as a "summer" bike; had I known I was going to get lured into that I may have left the original
(flat) bars on the Sirrus for about town use. The original poster probably ought to keep his missus
WELL out of the way should this same train of thought take hold.....

David - get one and enjoy!

Sadly true. It was covered on the local TV news this afternoon, and they showed the slip road
where it happened. Very little information except

    that

it involved a minibus at 07:30 - presumably the usual slip-road type collision.

    A little info here:

Thanks for that Mark. I was riding back from the London Southend ride today when a friend got a call
on his mobile about this. It was from his wife, she didn't know where he was riding today, heard it
on the radio and was worried.

This is very sad...I will have to make enquires to find out who it was. The sooner they drop that
    damn A12 course the better.

    Regards,

But it's a fast course, so that's a good thing, no?

If you've read the comic, that's the third death in TT's on dual carriageways in either 3
    or 4 weeks.
