Have done exactly the same - there must be lots of drop-barred Sirruses out there! However, I
enjoyed riding the Sirrus so much that I've since gone one step beyond and built meself up a Cervelo

(flat) bars on the Sirrus for about town use. The original poster probably ought to keep his missus
