how many TSS points, hours in the saddle, or miles do you accumulate before taking some active or passive rest? clearly, there are a lot of variable involved. such as how the TSS points were achieved, how hard those hours or miles were, quality of sleep, dietary factors, etc. use yourselves as case studies to elaborate how YOU determine when to rest.

One ride TSS over 300 (in 5 hours) I need 2 days off.
One week over 900 I'll need an easy week.
Try to listen to your body and not just the numbers.

Max is 2000 TSS in a 3 weeks training block with the 4th week recovery. By the third week, I would feel it.
