    I am new to biking and wonder if anyone can offer comments as to how well the Yakima "Joe" series of
    trunk mount bike racks works. They do state that an adapter is necessary for the top glass.

    I looked at the Thule trunk mounts but they claim that theirs do not fit the 99 Jimmy.

    I have a 4 dr GMC Jimmy and they claim that this type of rack works with that vehicle but I would
    feel better getting comments from real world users.

    The rack will only be used on paved roads.
