I bought a great carbon frame - flaming red (almost orange). I want to paint the forks to match. Seemed simple enough, but the local auto-paint supplier says he can't quite match it perfectly without the i.d. number of the color/ paint. I have written twice to the frame manufacturer without getting a reply. Help!

Which manufacturer? Maybe someone might be able to help if they know who you are dealing with.

It's a small company with a great reputation for good carbon frames - Aegis, located in Maine.
