Hi, I just found this group today. I am tired of the lack of local
(Southern California) resources for tricycle riders. I started a
community over on Livejournal but it gets almost no traffic. a cMost
bike stores here don't eveen carry trikes in stock. Seems there's a
stigma attatched to them. People look at me funny- well, funnier- when I
mention my trike.
The virtual invisibility to the general public just boggles. A few
people I've talked to aren't even awware that they make adult sized
trikes. I know it's not like that ellsewhere, the UK for example... even
Northern California. What is it that makes trikes popular some places
but not others?
