While visiting a friend at EBC yesterday, I was introduced to one of the staff's newly completed track bike.
Giant track frame (I didn't even realise they did one!), aero bars, CF aero seatpost and wheels. Oh my. What wheels!
The front is a relatively normal, low spoke count, aero spoked wheel. Albeit a little on the light side. The rear is a CF disc from Corimo (I think). Having got used to seeing gelcoat finish on all CF products, it's quite something to see a wheel where every last bit of "unnecessary" resin has been removed. It rolls like a dream (the wheel that is, I didn't get to try the bike!).
I had to leave before I developed a serious case of component envy.

Track bikes do roll unbelievably easily unladen compared to tourers or MTBs. I think it's a combination of the light weight and better tyres.
