  1. It is in test mode but we would love feedback on Triathlon Earth.

Interactive Satellite Maps of IM courses etc:

LOOKS neat, but does "test mode" mean that the course map doesn't include
    the uh.... course map?

It doesn't look like a "map" of the course so much as a google hyperlink to
the T1 location. If you could get the course route to by marked, you'd be
    on to something.

  3. Will probably work its way there but for now I want to see if there is
any interest. This was the easy part. Course mapping out on google and
MSN maps is the tough part.

    Thanks....Rob

  4. Actually its not so tough, I've been playing around with it for a few
UK Triathlon courses, the real problem is you need a paid for KEYHOLE
account to get access to the features.

I guess the real question is where the folks at Google intend to take
this service in the future. If it is going be another neat way in which
they can promote commercial businesses to its users, and it would be a
real hummer, there would be no reason why they shouldn't allow all the
features to be free to use.

Otherwise it looks like I can post KML files for triathlon courses etc,
but the only people that can use them have to have paid accounts.
