  1. Alright, I'm planning to use a 24 inch MUni with splined hub for mild
trials. I'm planning on getting 170 mm cranks on it but I wanted to see
what cranks came on trials so I looked on unicycle.com and found out
that most 20" trials they have come with either 125 or 145 mm cranks. I
figure this is equal to 150 and 174 for a 24 (trials crank length X 1.2,
the wheel size ratio). So should I be fine using my 170's for a little
trials? Or, should I go ahead and get a pair of 145's (or 140's or
whatever) for flatter MUni'ing and for trials (do you like 125's on your
    20" trials?).

  2. I'd go with 170s for trials on a 24x3 personally. I find the bit of
extra control to make a difference. I originally had 150s on but changed
to 170s. My only problem with them is a lack of speed and smoothness on
trails etc. I use 140s on my trials uni, where of course speed isn't
really an issue. Maybe try 160s for a happy medium? (I'm sure Profile do
em right?) If I could get KH 160s I'd give em a try!

    Hope this helps.

  3. Thanks for the info. I think I'll try the 170's if I don't like them I
can always get another set. Thanks again.
