  1. Can anyone recommend a good tri coach in the Los Angeles
    (westside) area? I'm a fairly experienced tri-/endurance-
athlete.......just need some advice on putting it all
together for IMFL........want to finish healthy and not be
out there too long.......on a minimal training schedule. Is
    that asking too much?

Thanks in advance for any leads!

  2. there are a lot of very competent coaches around in
the area, so i'll just zing off two who immediately
    come to mind.
    1. west l.a./santa monica area : acme coaching, which is
actually 2 or 3 people: ian murray, jamie silber, and
carlyn challgren. they're very big in the l.a. tri club
group, as well as doing some charity training groups, i
think. if their web site doesn't pop right up, e-mail me
and i'll get it. they're very good, very realistic, did
wonders for a friend in prep for imfl.

    2. crucible fitness, with rich strauss. he's south east of
    downtown l.a., but---as with most coaching---can
certainly do fine over e-mail. likewise, very good stuff.
    his website is cruciblefitness.com peggy

  3. Thank you again!!! I'm pretty sure I'm going with Acme;
they sound great....do any other SoCal folks have
    knowledge of them?

  4. I've done open water swim and running clinics with Ian and
Jaime. Very knowledgable folks and enthusiastic. I have no
doubt that they can help you
