Trek OCLV repaint?

From what I know (and we do this for other stuff), carbon fiber is tough to paint, or so thinks PPG.
They couldn't get any automotive grade paint to stick to our carbon fiber body panels, and the whole
thing came out a mess. Hopefully we'll have better luck this year.

Imron, etc. is used for carbon fiber boats and boat parts all the time. If you don't want to spend
that kind of money, there are plenty of cheaper epoxy paints that will work too. Try the West Marine
catalog, or a marine paint supplier.

Carbon reinforced thermoplastic (ie, nylon) is a challenge to paint, but I know for a fact that
polyurethane paints work fine on that too. It's all in the prep.

I think you guys need to talk or send your stuff to someone who paints carbon fiber bikes like

i believe it is from around 250 and up.
