hi everyone,
i am really new to the cycling world and wanted to get a bike to commute and exercise. I found this bike on craigslist inlandempire.craigslist.org3556484659.htmlOpen ↗
was wondering if this is a good deal for the bike? The lowest he will take for the bike is $180.

it is not bad, certainly a bargain for 180 usd., very good condition with no scratches on the paint job, if you buy it change the stem and the handlebar maybe and you are set to go, or leave it as it is if you are comfortable with an upright position, the cantilever brakes gives you the option of using both MTB levers or road levers with drop handlebars,
MTB? mountain bike? What does road levers with drop handlebars mean? As you can see really new to the cycling world. Thank you for your input really appreciate it.
the brake levers it has are mountain bike levers, a road bike has different handlebars, for example go to the Trek website and check the road bikes out, the kind of brakes of the trek you are looking at will also work with road bike like shifters, if i was you i would buy it and then change the stem into something that will give you a better more sport aerodinamic position, it will make a nice commuter bike and make you excercise at the same time,
