trek frame identification

I had the 1200 version of that bike with 105 kit. Loved it, despite the
pink lettering.

I forget the exact aluminum, but if you want to re-badge it after
painting, reproduction decals are readily available.

there too, just match your original equipment with the right year...

I can help eliminate at least one year. My Trek 1400 bonded aluminum
is from 1989 (IIRC). It's white with red lettering and the material
decal says its 6061-T6 Alcoa Aluminum.
