I just joined and would like to know if any Triathletes out there have a Trek Equinox 7 they use or have experience with? I am thinking of buying one as a first timer (Getting back into Tri from 1987 ish) bike and feel for the price i can get a new one delivered to my door in the UK is worth looking at!
I can get a brand new Trek Eq 7 for less than £875 + P&P of £20.
I know there are better bikes out there in the price range these bikes normally go for but this price is worth looking into for a first time bike. I suppose the standard gear that is fitted to this bike is what you guys would expect to see for a bike of the normal price tag?
I don't see the need to spend £2,000 or $3,500 on a really good bike fitted with all the gear if my skill level wont make the most out of the bike?
What do you guys and girls think? Is the Trek 7 and good bike with any good write up or magazine reviews??
