  1. The new Trek 5000 is pretty slick and a shop has offered to give me a good deal on one. Does anyone own one of these? Is it a nice bike to ride? Do you race on it? Is there anything you don't like about it? Does it feel sluggish and any time? (apart from when you're going [censored]).

For what it's worth, I have a mixture of Ultegra and Dura Ace but let's ignore components for now... I'm only buying a new Frame and fork.

I'm 6ft... 34inch leg, so I'm probably looking at a 58cm in a Trek as they look given the size of the frame.

I'm 5'10" and ride a 58 cm comfortabley. You will probably want a 59cm but you really should be fit. The 5000 is a pretty good ride, IMO.
