I am planning my first long distance ride (2 days to travel from Augusta, Ga. to Savannah, Ga. which is about 135 miles) and am trying to determine a good route. Some factors to consider:
-low automobile traffic
-scenery
-"quickie touristy" things to do along the way e.g. something akin to a ceramic termite museum or an obscure battle site.
I am also trying to figure out what kind of milage is realistic as well as what needs to be taken, what role a an automobile should play etc.
Anyone have any suggestions?
