  1. Does anyone know of a travel insurance company in the UK that allows
cycle touring without (Shock! Horror!) wearing a cycle helmet?

    Cheers

Have you tried asking the CTC?

Do they normally try and make it a condition then?

Anyway, lots I would imagine, I currently have a policy taken out via
    Nationwide.

All it says regarding cycling is that it is covered - with a long list
of other sports and 'hazardous activities (not racing, but that's
normal) - no other exclusions that I can see.

Remember, this is not bike insurance, but travel insurance. Thinks:
check the travel insurance I get through work...

88% of helmet statistics are made up, 65% of them at Washington University

As said my current policy doesn't have any stipulation, nor have I ever
seen one, though I'd not be surprised if some have them.
