    I have a cycle trainer and a hybrid to use with it, I get a terrible noise though due to the tread in the tyres. I can see that there are smooth training tyres available and they all seem to be 23mm. The hybrid is a ridgeback velocity and has 38mm tyres. Do I really need a new back wheel to take the training tyres or can I get a wider one?
