  1. Hi guys,

I have decided to set myself a short term goal in order to keep myself fit (I am gaining way too much weight).

I am from London, UK, and I ride mostly around Richmond Park, where a lap is about 11km/7 miles.

My p.b. around a lap is just under 20 minutes, but I think I can down to low 19s, if I get a clean lap.

Well, my aim is to get the time down to 18 minutes by the end of the summer. So I have put together a few sessions I could do, but I need some advice on how to structure them or even if they are any good.

I can only train 4-5 times a week, once a day.

    Here are the sessions:

    2x20 minutes @ 95%, 5 minutes break
    2hr steady ride (@60-70%)
2x(1m-2m-3m-4m) in hardest gear, powering through, wint 1 minute rest in between
    1 hour @ 85%

I thought of doing them in that order.... Also, the %ages refer to the speed I'd be doing around the lap.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks!!

    Looks in order to me.

BTW, Italian Stallion, have we met?

I used to ride horses in that park at Roehampton (Old Deer Park?) just up the road from Richmond.

Have I been using the spurs and whip on you? 🙂
