Hi everyone

Around 2 month's ago I took up cycling after running for 7 years. I used to be a decent 400m runner, but injuries have forced me to look to other sports. Through my own choice and advice from my athletics coach, cycling is where I have ended up.

As I'm new to cycling I was wondering if anyone had any advice on training programs/equipment. Initially I'm thinking of either going down the track route (since I have a power and endurance background) or short time trials.

As an athlete I used to train hard 6 times a week (2 x track running, 2 x gym and 2 x other running related training). I'm 22, 6 foot and 166 pounds.

thanks

:)
