  1. I just bought a trainer the other day and it is set up and everything but if I want to go riding without the trainer should I switch skewers back or no? I'm sorry if this is a stupid question I just dont want something snapping.

  2. The trainer skewer is usually a more robust/heavier type since it is used to support the bike on the trainer frame. Can you go riding with it? Sure, just might be a tad heavier than your regular one. Then again, switching it will take all of 5 seconds..........
