Trail Running Shoes in Narrow Widths?

You might look at something like Inov8 or Walsh models. I've heard they
tend to run narrow and tend to be light on cushioning and support. Kinda
the reverse of most Montrails and some other US brands.

But consider why you need in a trail shoe and what features it needs for
your trails - mud, rock scrambling, pointy-side up rocks - or whether
you need one at all. Many people run trails in road shoes.

I think Icebugs run narrow also, if you need it for ice.

without being to obtuse, have you tried a D shoe
and found it wanting? i was running road in an 11B NB
shoe but the only NB OffRoad shoe the store
had when I was buying was 11 doubleE!!
i took it, and it's fine. the extra room allows me to
double up socks if i like and gives my toes plenty
of stretch space.
