  1. Just got in after my v first go on the Manchester Velodrome, WOW!!!
Worth a tenner of anyone's IMHO. Many many thanks to Martin Newstead who
was top bloke showing me the ropes, cheers M Series.

I reckon anyone that like a pedal would enjoy a taster session on the
track. I really enjoyed myself, in fact now I'm almost an old git I even
savored the nerves beforehand rather than simply getting more and more
worried. Those corners are pretty intimidating to look at... however
they are top fun once you have done a few laps. Brilliant! Worst bit is
dealing with other riders, not wanting to be a complete knobber but
that's hard when I actually was. Still, no-one got hurt or even slightly
upset, in fact no incidents to speak of at all really.

We both agreed it would be nice to try and get a track session a month
in over the winter, no doubt it will be posted here if anyone else
    fancies it.

Once again, thanks Martin, a most enjoyable ten minutes (it CAN'T have
    been a full hour!).

    bfn,

    Tony B

It really is fun. You may get a student discount too (I got an unemployed
    discount in the Spring)
