  1. Quick walk up Ben Hee 'up north yesterday. Gore-tex on
    while still in the car. Constant rain, rivers in spate.
    easy walking and on top in 1.5 hours. Heavy bursts of
    snow above 800m. Like intense blizzards with snow piling
    around the rocks. Good for snow balls. Like hillwalking
    in late October! back to the car in 3 hours and off to
    the pub ... Rob
