[FONT=Calibri]“Wow what a great weekend away. It’s not often that we manage to escape the smoke & to be so active! Just 2 hours from London, we found Norfolk, well high lodge at Thetford first as we went to a concert on our first night, what a great place for walks, Go-ape, cycling and picnics. As a central base we used Strattons Hotel - A luxury boutique hotel in Swaffham Norfolk, as they put it, luxury boutique without sacrifice to the environment, interesting interiors, delicious food and wonderful staff. Day 2 we went for a beach and countryside day. It was no wonder Norfolk is known as the UK’s Hamptons, fabulous beaches litter the north coast line village after village, and we even managed to take in some bird watching in several spots. Day 3 was a history and shopping day in Norwich, the cathedral is a must see, along with the old parts of the city...then it was home. [/FONT]
