  1. I've had a few walks over Easter, mainly trying to keep away from
crowds, so they are all a bit off the beaten path. I'd much prefer to
go to these places and stroll in the sunshine than sit in traffic jams
on the main Lake District roads! Photo's are posted:

  2. Could only get out on the Bank Holiday Monday myself... did the Llanfrynach
Circuit around to Fan Y Big. Considering I was in the BB I didn't see my
first walker until I got to the start of the ridge around Craig Cwareli and
then it was the only the occasional one or two. There were 4 people on FYB
when I got there but looking over towards the 3 other peaks they were like
little ants swarming about! Apart from the last mile I didn't see another
soul on the route...and the weather was great n'all !

    OT:

Following on from an earlier topic of walking alone this was my 1st real
walk alone. The guy I normally tread the hills with was not up to it but as
I was back in the office today I just had to get out! (he does not work so
can get out when he wants) Gave my wife a route of where I was going and how
long I expected to be so got that bit covered. As for the alone bit I have
to say that I am the type who likes to have a natter etc en route so found
my own company a little weird! It was ok but I would prefer to walk with
    someone given the choice.
