  1. Set off 6:30 am to head East as the forecast was better at that side. We parked up at Loch Muick,
paid our £2, and set off up the Lochnagar path. Last weeks snow has all but disappeared :-( and the
going was very easy on the track, so easy in fact that we summitted at 10 am just 1hr 15 min after
setting off. we decided we then had plenty of time to take in another easy Deeside Corbett so took a
direct line from the summit ESE and arrived back at the car exactly 2 hours after setting out. A
short drive back to Braemar and believe it or not we missed the correct start at Braemar and found
ourselves still on the road West of the A93. Instead of turning we decided just to do Morrone up the
land rover track that goes from west of Auchallater all the way to the summit mast. The ascent took
an hour and a short break and descent just 45 minutes more.

Two Corbetts in a very easy morning then back to the Ski Centre for bacon rolls and coffee.
