You're having weather problems too Alan!

Here in the Swansea Valley I have often gone up to the Western Fans
leaving in lovely sunshine only to get into the hills in overcast
miserable conditions. My purpose on these occasions was photography pure
and simple and I've gone home shot less :-)

It's these damned mountains you see :-)

Ah. If you'd been with me, walking in Coed Glyncornel, you'd
have had a fabulous day. It was warm but not uncomfortably
hot, sunny, clear skies, dry underfoot (mostly) and altogether
wonderful. Of course, it's not quite as high as Cribyn, nor
as pointy, and the view across the valley leaves something to
be desired, but it's a lovely place to walk and explore. Did
I mention that the weather was gorgeous all weekend?

After lunch at about 1.30 pm it was gorgeous and it was time to take my
dawg for his walk down by the river. I ventured outwearing only my
Coolmax base layer above the waist and my usual dog walking gear below
the waist. When I got to the river side the sun disappeared and it
became damn cold.

I'm waiting for some predictably good weather to take some pictures at
the Nant Tarw stone circles again. This is for a Power Point
presentation. here in the lower part of the Swansea Valley we have very
different weather from the top end of the valley near
Glyntawe/Dan-yr-Ogof area.
