A sunny day apart from a few mins, although windy.
8.82miles and 2549ft ascent, 4.5hrsinc 20min break.
I was doing this yesterday via MTB & the track but my summer
boots are worn thru on the sole, so biking with winter
boots would be difficult !
An alternative start, from the Glenshee Ski Car park, led
west over the bealach between Aosada and
Cairnwell, nice wee hut for fisherman at the loch, although
locked.
Descend down to the glen then cut up the path past
the grouse butts, then a good path thru a wee river valley
leads onto the ridge and summit.
A snack for twenty mins in the cairn and a Cairngorm
Club grp joined me out of the wind. The cloudbase dropped
to about 800m but the clouds parted after Carn an Righ.
Return in the sunshine the same route.
Yet again www.mwis.org.uk forecast was spot on.
