  1. Just pllaying for the sympathy vote here.

Yes the Scottish snow is probably about the best for 4 or 5 years.
Yes this weekend I should've been in Glencoe.
Yes the weather in the west is pretty good - if a tad windy.

Yes, I am at home with a flu bug!

    Bummer.

Well anyway have done a bit of virtual hillwalking and uploaded a few
new Scottish pics on my webshots site:

    http://community.webshots.com/user/doc_paul

Mainly scanned slides in the absence of any new digital stuff ........
which of course I would have had if I hadn't got this bug........

    Bummer.

  2. (cough cough) I know how you feel, I've been down with a heavy cold for the
last week. (sniff sniff) Even now I have a bad cough, but hopefully I might
get out tomorrow onto the North York Moors. Weather looks OK for sunday.

    Jhimmy.

Sympathies. I've had it and my 15 yr old daughter has got it
at the moment. It's thoroughly vile and I wouldn't wish it on
anyone. Have a hug and a honey drink to soothe your throat.
