  1. Hello chaps - I'm considering buying a trainer for my bike but have no idea where to start. I'm doing this purely for exercise benefits. I've got a bad balance problem so stability is a high priority. I don't want to spend loads (although the VR trainers look fun :-)

    What makes/types should I be looking for.

    I have a tacx I magic, I use nearly every day... The model I bought is now going cheap (eg at ribblecycles.co.uk) since it has been superceeded.

    The VR is fun, but i find that the cadance training software is actually what I use on a daily basis, and it runs of a much lower spec computer.. I can only say good things about this trainer.
