  1. I just heard from Cycleops that my toraue tube is bad and they have to order a new one. Anyone no what the hell a torque tube is, and how it goes bad?

And if it's at Graber being fixed, why do they have to "order" a torque tube. Who are they ordering it from😕

  2. not too sure what it is, but don't feel too bad, i just got the same message from them. I talked to them last friday and what they thought was just a calibration issue that would take a few minutes to fix turned into a new torque tube. They said that i should be getting it back either today or early next week, i guess i'll have to give them a call and see what's up. My guess is that they don't produce any parts in house, they probably order the parts and put them together, or they are put together in some factory somewhere kids work for 5 cents a day, and they don't know the proper way to install a torque tube.

  3. the torque tube is the tube where the strain gauges are mounted, so pretty important peice, and i imagine it's an expensive repair, luckily it's covered under warranty. Mine is sitting on the fed-ex truck now, so hopefully i'll be able to finally get some correct numbers from it during tonights trainer session. Hope you get yours back soon.

  4. Thanks for the info.

I was told the new torque tube would come in on the 26th. How are they sending yours? Ground? Overnight?

They haven't said anything about cost, and I've had the wheel for almost two years. I'm assuming they are covering it (?)

  5. sent it express, took three days to get to NJ from Wisconson. I just purchased the wheel and never got correct data, so they covered the cost including shipping. I don't know what the warranty situation is.
