  1. Has anyone used the topical medication dalacin for acne and

    The following is from:
    medsafe.govt.nzDalacinTSoln.htm

<Other side effects not listed above may also occur in some
patients. Tell your doctor if you notice anything else that
    is making you feel unwell.

While using Dalacin T and after finishing it: Tell your
doctor immediately if you notice any of the following side
effects during use, or several weeks after stopping
treatment with Dalacin T: severe stomach cramps; watery and
severe diarrhoea, which also may be bloody; fever, in
combination with one or both of the above; These are rare
    but serious side effects.

Dalacin T can change bacteria, which are normally present
in the bowel and normally harmless, to multiply and
therefore cause the above symptoms. Therefore, you may need
urgent medical attention. However, this side effect is
rare. Do not take any diarrhoea medicine without first
    checking with your doctor.>

    Bloody diarrhea!!!!?????

Oh, and don't always believe the "rare" part.

In order for side effects to be documented, doctors must
report them to the pharmaceutical company, who must report
it to the public who will stop buying their product. Yeah,
right. Look how long it took to get Baycol off the market
after it killed so many people.

If you have acne, a way that is safer and less expensive
than smearing possibly dangerous gunk on pimples is to
ELIMINATE THE CAUSES from within (diet) and without....(some
hair preparations leech onto the pillow and rub against the
face during sleep to cause pimples).
    icdc.comacnealternatives803.htm

I had a patient with acne so bad that you couldn't see an
uninflamed area on her face. With a couple of facials and a
cleanup of her diet (no pizza or soda) her skin was almost
renewed in a month. Her own sister walked past her without
    recognizing her!!!

Another experience....had chronic acne on back and
shoulders from teenage years. Read an Adele Davis book and
started taking calcium and magnesium. Her skin cleared up
    in two weeks.

All that time...... for all those years, trying to buy
turtleneck swimsuits to hide her acne....... All she had to
do was take calcium and magnesium (her diet was pretty good
anyway so she didn't have to change anything besides
    drinking more water).
