  1. I'd like to add a pair of top-mount 'cyclocross' brake levers to a bike that currently has V-brakes
and Dia Compe 287V levers. I know the Paul Components levers are V-brake or canti compatible, but
I'd prefer not to spend that much money.

Judging by the pivot positions, some of these levers (Tektro, Salsa) pull rather less cable than
others (SRP, Empella) but I haven't found definitive information on cable pull other than for the
Paul levers. Can anyone suggest which, if any, of these levers work well with V-brakes?

    Thanks,

    James Thomson
