  1. Tomato Pie

    1 unbaked pie shell, in a 9" pie plate
    5 thickly sliced medium tomatoes [peeled] in 2 layers
    1 cup sliced green onions [include part of the green]
    1 Tbsp. chopped fresh basil
    1/2 Tbsp chopped fresh oregano
    salt and pepper to taste
    2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
    1 cup Best Foods/Hellmann's Mayonnaise
    Grated parmesan as desired for top of pie

    [censored] pie shell with a fork and bake in preheated oven at 400 degrees for 10 minutes.
    Let cool. Cover bottom of crust with half of tomatoes. Sprinkle with half of green
    onions, half of basil, half of oregano, and season with salt and pepper. In a bowl mix
    shredded cheddar cheese with mayonnaise, and then spread half of this mixture on top
    of first layer. Add second layer of tomatoes and rest of ingredients, and top with
    rest of cheese mixture. Sprinkle the top of pie with grated Parmesan to your
    preference. Bake 45 minutes until golden and firm. Let pie cool slightly before
    serving..
