  1. I cycled into Dereham. Sunny day, cool, so wrapped up warmly and set off. With the yellow lensed
    shades on, the world was transformed into the height of summer *visually* and to add to the
    illusion, I had a tailwind! Glorious. Cycled about town - dropped the thank you letter off at the
    taxi firm office of Mr Nice Taxi Driver from yesterday, then went & bought a loaf of bread.
    Motorists were pleasant today, with my large rear being given a wide berth, and no being overtaken
    or cut-up by idiots today. The world is a happier place. On the way home, my false sense of security
    was shattered by the nice tailwind becoming a nasty, cold-edge-to-it headwind. It was bracing and
    blew the cobwebs away.

    All-in-all, a pleasant bit of cycling.
