It is dreary as hell here today. No rain but cold as all get out. I've got the fireplace going. For
lunch I had mac 'n cheese from the Kraft blue box along with Tabatchnick (sp) Barley Mushroom soup.
Tonight will be a meatloaf, fresh mashed, brown gravy and an as unyet tried; Easy Bake Blackberry
Cobbler recipe from foodclassics.com. My intent today is nothing but easy so I can lay around and
watch TV. I'll let you know how the cobbler turns out.

Easy Bake Blackberry Cobbler Description: There is not much better to eat than a cobbler made with
fresh berries. This one is great heated up and coated with a butter/sugar mixture. Meal type:
Dessert Ethnic type: American Preparation time: 30-45 minutes
Ingredients - 2 t butter
- 1 C sugar
- 1 t baking powder
- 1 1/4 C flour
- 1 Quart fresh blackberries (I'm using frozen which will be thawed and well drained)
- 1 C milk
Directions 1. Melt butter in an 8" by 8" baking dish, then add blackberries
2. In a separate bowl combine flour, baking powder, sugar and milk
3. Pour batter over fruit
4. Bake at 325 degrees for 40 minutes or until lightly borwned
5. Can be served warm or cold
