Today's Cooking

I'm making the cabbage rolls for dinner tonight as DH had a meeting last
night. I took pics of the process for DD as she hasn't made cabbage
rolls before. She was asking about them last night so I thought this
would be easier for her to follow. I'll serve them with homemade cheese
sticks - nice recipe and very photogenic - tossed salad made with
mesclun mix topped with a vinegrette using one of my herbed vinegars and
I'm not sure what for desert if anything.

BTW, the other night I had a weird dream. Awhile ago, I made rumtophf
(sp) only to find it just a tad too strong. Well this must have been on
my mind so in the dream I was topping cottage cheese with the rumtophf.
I'm almost tempted to try it and see what the combination tastes like.

The only food dream I've had in ages is McDonalds put something addictive
in their grease which made you *have* to go back on a daily basis. When I
woke up my arteries were clogged and I'd gained 50 pounds 😉

Listen bub, ain't gonna happen 😉 I took several pics of the cabbage
rolls to walk DD through the process. It really isn't hard so I'm sure
she will be able to grasp the idea. I took a few pics of the cheese
sticks for my recipe book. I'm working on genealogy to uploading pics
is not a high priority. Downloading is though and if my ancestors don't
appear shortly before I have to look at every bloody image of the 1911
census, I'm going to smack them silly! The only good thing about
dial-up is you have enough time to do other things while downloading.

Off to enjoy cabbage rolls and cheese sticks while another image or two
downloads 🙂

McD's is enough to kill you without even eating there.
