  1. hey there,
i need a bit of an advice here.
im thinking of having a hybrid built.
i am happy with my mountain bike so far, its fairly light, most of the
components are deorelx, semi sleek 26x2 tires..
since i ride it on the paved roads (in toronto though, can get nasty)
basicaly all the time, i am wandering can i get a bit of an advantage
speed wise by switching to hybrid?
will that one inch in diameter bring a significant difference?
for the crankset, what ratio should i look for, 52/42/30 ?
i guees 11-32 cassette is standard, wouldnt make much of a difference
    to change that.... ?

is there anything else i should consider to gain speed, with the same
effort, compared to a mountin bike?
    thanks
