I just got a Fuji world touring bike. Its comes with Ritchey Tom Slick Tires,But one of the tires was defective, the tires he had,and said he could replace them with was Schwalbe Marathon tires,he said they are as good or better then Ritchey tires.but if I don't like them he would replace them with the Ritchey tires, when he gets them in.So do you think I should keep the Schwalbe tires or ask him to get me the Ritchey tires.I went for a 46 mile ride today, and the tires(and the rest of the bike)seems great.
Thanks

Congrats on the new bike! You ended up getting it quicker than you thought then! My Fuji World came with Hutchinson Globetrotters which, as it turned out one of them was also defective. It was out of round and wore through to the kevlar too soon. They have good puncture resistance though.... I am also about to buy Schwalbe Marathons after doing some research and hearing good things about them from other riders here. I did also consider the Continental Travel Contact (I saw a Cannondale T2000 with those fitted). They seem to be pretty good, but there is no stock in Australia for at least the next few months so I had to rule them out.
