Tires for the Genius

For a decent combination of traction, durability, ride comfort and low rolling resistance on a CGX I
would consider a 53-305 Schwalbe City Jet on the front and a 47-406 Avocet Fasgrip Freestyle on the
back. On an ALX I would use the Avocet's front and back.

The 35-305 Primo Comet has low rolling resistance, but has relatively poor wet traction, puncture
resistance, and tread life (at least on the front of a Sunset). (The same could be said about the
gum-wall 37-406 Comet – I have not tried the newer black-wall Comet in 37-406 or 47-406 sizes).

I've ordered a new 50-406 Kevlar-belted Comet for the front of my Rocket (from Hostelshoppe). Also
available in a non-belted version.
