Funny like "keep lining you helmet with aluminum foil"?
You see what this news group would degenerate to if it weren't for brave souls like me? It would
just be one nut case after another venting his frustration with lame attempts at humor. Mr.
Larrington is off-topic (as he often is) and makes no apology for his asininities. But all the
other liberals on this news group do not object and probably find his childish jokes amusing
(liberals are not known for an intelligent sense of humor - look at that champion jackass Al
Franken - he is about as funny as death warmed over). At least I have brains enough to stay OT
and not mess up recumbent threads (unless forced to by a liberal idiot). I am waiting for
someone to post taking old Dave to task for getting off-topic but it will never happen because
liberals like it when they do it and only dislike it when I do it, but at least I try to confine
my ranting and raving to OT. Mr. Larrington does not even try. Go figure.

Frankly, I hate it when EVERYBODY (including myself), does it. Enough with the liberals blaming
conservatives and vica versa. Both liberals and conservatives suck. You are both fighting an
"either/or" battle where it should be a multiple choice. There are more than two sides to every
question or problem, and blaming merely divides people further.
Mr. Larrington is amusing when he writes of mechanical things being made of CHEESE, but I have
seen no political posts here that are entertaining, and only those of Scott Talkington were
informative.
Who is Scott Talkington? Mr. Larrington is never amusing, and never more so than when he is trying
to be. Maybe you have to be English to appreciate him.
Political posts are never entertaining and they are not meant to be. It would be nice if they were
occasionally informative, but that is not their purpose either (although Mr. Sherman seems to think
so from time to time). No, political posts are all about oneupmanship pure and simple, and there are
no rules either. Anything goes. All that matters is that you score points for your side. When I want
to be informed I resort to radio, TV, newspapers and magazines (sometimes I even read books). I
would never think of coming to a newsgroup to become informed about much of anything, political or
otherwise. Political posts are all about screwing the other guy before he screws you, or at the very
least screwing him back after he has screwed you. My only purpose in being here is to bring some
"fair and balanced" views to what had become a massaging parlor for liberal egos at the expense of
the other 80% of the population (otherwise known as conservatives). It is not a pleasant job but
someone has to do it.
