What are advantages and disadvantages of running different tire widths?.....i had 700-25 on my bike but i got new tires and mistakenly got 700-23's.

The 700/23s won't be as plush.

Most people run 700x23s on their road bikes as a good compromise in terms of performance and comfort.

The 23 will have less rolling resistance as well as better aerodynamics.
The 25 will give a smoother ride, have better grip with the road-especially on loose gravel, and will be less prone to pinch flats.
