Hi folks..picked up a Schwinn 26" 3-speed down at the salvation army store and need to replace one tire. The original tire is a 26 x 1 3/8 37-597
The closest thing I could find without mail ordering was a 26 x 1 3/8 37-590. I was wondering if that'd be ok. I did get it on the rim, but the new tube I had was either defective or the mis sized tire may have damaged it.
In any event, I had a oversized bubble in the tire where the tube over inflated in one spot by the valve.
....Dunno how that happened...
Thanks for any info.
